On Feb. 5, the Rocky yearbook class took pictures of over fifteen clubs with various numbers of members, ranging from ten to 50. According to the Rocky Mountain High School website, Rocky has 25 clubs, most of which signed up for the event. Using a well-organized schedule and a practiced system, they photographed every club that participated over the course of just one school day.
According to Eve Hough, a senior and an editor for the yearbook, the process went smoothly due to its organization. She said, “I think it’s just a well-oiled system… It was a lot of communication, making sure everything was where it needed to be.”
Though the process went well overall, there were some difficulties. Molly Arnold, also an editor for the Yearbook and junior at Rocky, recorded the first and last names of everyone who showed up. “There was a lot of waiting around,” she said. The delay was due to the lack of announcements, so as not to disturb the classrooms.
The primary goal of the event was to showcase the many ways students have contributed to their high school over the course of the 2025-26 school year through high quality yearbook photos. Both girls agreed on the positives of joining clubs at Rocky.
Molly’s favorite thing about the clubs at Rocky is the community. She said, “I think the clubs are a really good way to meet people that have similar interests… I’ve been able to meet a lot of cool new people, and I’ve become friends with a lot of them.”
Eve hopes to encourage people to be more involved in Rocky. “From a yearbook standpoint, it’s really hard to get everyone in the yearbook, and being in a club guarantees you a spot.”

Pretty great to know that the yearbook students are well organized, it’s a great skill and reflects well onto the school.

This is a really well written article. It’s very impressive how you captured so much of the yearbook team and then condensed it into an article. I really liked how you incorporated quotes into it as well.

awesome article! Love to see that students get to do all the same things adults get paid for. Great job!
