Feb. 20, 2026 — After a five-year hiatus following his debut album, The Melodic Blue, singer, songwriter and producer Baby Keem has delivered his sophomore album, Ca$ino. The 11-track album runs just under 37 minutes and includes two music videos. As of March 9, it sits at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, selling 72,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
From his hard, gritty flows on tracks like “Ca$ino,” “House Money” and “Circus Circus Freestyle,” where he frankly doesn’t care if his voice cracks — and it does, a lot — to smoother tracks that are easier listens, such as “Good Flirts” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Momo Boyd and “Dramatic Girl” featuring Che Ecru, the album offers a lot of variety, though it can feel scattered at times. We see a presumably more mature Keem compared with his debut. On track two, “Ca$ino,” he reflects, “I hit rock bottom when I was gone, and now I got nothing to lose.” His performances include awkward but insanely catchy flows, as well as some polished singing.
Ca$ino features production from more than 15 contributors, including Keem. Like the tracklist, the production is diverse: intense synths drive “Ca$ino,” while “Circus Circus Freestyle” is led by bold brass patterns. Mellow tracks such as “Good Flirts” and “Dramatic Girl” — which samples MGMT’s “Kids” — offer a contrasting sound. Nearly every song on the album contains a flipped sample, and the producers use them effectively to enhance each track’s atmosphere.
Overall, Ca$ino is 37 minutes of Baby Keem reflecting on his past while delivering catchy, replayable music. The album is highly polished, clearly the product of significant effort. Yet it raises questions about Keem’s future — it’s hard to see how he might top this effort. That said, he may still prove us wrong. For now, all we can do is wait.
