The popular pizza restaurant, “Johnny Bronx”, has been voted the best pizza in Meridian. A survey of 114 rocky students showed that 32% of students agreed, 32% of students disagreed, and 36% of students were unsure if the title was deserved.

The overall average rating of Johnny Bronx is 7.61 out of 10 stars. As some bonus information, 73% of Rocky students prefer pepperoni pizza over cheese pizza. The prices seem to be fairly cheap, with a 6.34 out of ten rating. Although, most people feel neutral about their pizza and its quality with a 90 out of 200 NPS® rating. Most people tend to go 1-2 times a week, if they go at all, and 78% of people think that Johnny Bronx is great lunch/hangout place. After asking 66 people that have been to New York and have had genuine New York Style pizza, they say that they would give Johnny Bronx a 3 out of 5 rating in comparison. Johnny Bronx also seems to be the most popular for freshmen, as its close and you don’t need to drive.

Cohen Kitamura said “Well, I like Blaze Pizza more because the crust is immaculate, but it’s more expensive. So, it’s kind of a tossup.” after asking him why or why not Johnny Bronx deserved the title.

Daniel Seder said “Well, it’s very good, but I don’t know if it deserves the first place, you know?”

Sawyer Bjorkman said “Well, because I feel like, you know, there’s also other strong pizza places like Domino’s.”

Overall, this shows that Rocky does not think the title was deserved. According to Johnny Bronx’s official website, Johnny Bronx was founded in our town, Meridian, ID, in attempt to bring authentic pizza to other places. They currently have 2 locations, both in Meridian, and are open every day, except Sundays. But at the end of the day, it’s not about the taste or quality of the pizza, it’s about who you went with and the memories, good or bad, that you made.
