For the past couple of weeks at Rocky, students have been taking finals exams. Finals week is just about over, but some Rocky students have some final exams upcoming.

Parker Myler, freshman, says, “I had a video tech final, an English final, and a math final.”

Caylee Do, another freshman, says, “I’ve only had one final, and that was for math.”

Owen Wells, sophomore, says, “I have an AP Bio test and a history test.”

Kaden Swenson, also a sophomore, says, “I have a Bio final.”

Luci Dean, sophomore, says, “I’ve had no finals this semester, except for a calculus quiz.”

Stella McLenna, junior, says, “I haven’t ever had an actual finals test, but I did have some tests this week.”

Myah Oswald, another junior, says, “So far, I’ve had a small animal care test, animal nutrition test, math test, English essay, ASL project, and a yearbook page.”

When asked how they felt about their finals, here is what Rocky Students had to say.

PM: “I did pretty well! I got all A’s.”

CD: “It was good. I wasn’t stressed about it, but I didn’t do as good as I thought I would do.”

OW: “I have been studying a lot, but I think I will do fine.”

KS: ” I do not think I will do too well on it.”

LD: “My quiz went bad, I got a B.”

SM: “Most of them went well, but I am really done for the semester mentally, so on a few tests, I didn’t study.”

MO: “I feel pretty good about them, but that’s also slightly due to my ability to cram study, but that doesn’t mean this week was easy.”

MO: “Finals are like a double edged sword. On one hand, it is incredibly stressful to spend every night and every lunch catching up or studying. It’s pretty exhausting and nerve wracking to take all these tests. But at the same time, it also tells us that the break is really close so it builds excitement. Overall, I won’t fail and I’m proud of what I’ve done, but I’m definitely ready for the break.”

To sum up, Rocky students have been taking finals during the past few weeks, and soon, they will be over! Some feel confident, while others not so much.

What finals have you had? How did your finals go? Do you have any more left?
