Students do various things at lunch like eating in the cafeteria, going off campus, or even going to other nearby fast-food restaurants. Those that can drive go to Winco to buy food, snacks, or drinks, while others that can’t go to Sonic, Dutch Bros, Johnny Bronx, and Gyro Shack. Gyro Shack is a Greek themed fast-food restaurant that sells Greek food. But the students at Rocky Mountain High School mostly just get the chicken box. The chicken box contains 2 chicken strips, fries, and a soft drink of the student’s choice, usually only costing around $6.00. It’s not as cheap as some of the other places around Rocky Mountain High School, like Johnny Bronx, that sells a slice of pizza for about $3.00. But if you really like chicken and fries, Gyro Shack is the way to go
Although Gyro Shack is somewhat expensive to buy, what about the quality of the product? It has been observed that there are many people that go to both Gyro Shack and Johnny Bronx, however it seems that Gyro Shack had many more people at it. Some students personally believe that chicken and fries with a soft drink is better than a quality slice of pizza.
So overall, is Gyro Shack really worth buying? This article would argue yes. However, it doesn’t matter what the community of Rocky Mountain High School thinks. Everyone has a different taste for different things, and a different budget to spend on lunch.
