Settlers Park is in Meridian Idaho located at the intersection of Meridian and Ustick Roads. It was named after the settlers who contributed to the area’s development and was created between 2003 and 2014. The park spans 58 acres and offers various recreational facilities, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts.
There are 2 big fields right next to the parking lot and a pond next to one of the entrances. The park is filled with entertainment such as sports, a playground, a splash pad, and fields of grass. People often like to throw birthday parties for their kids at Settlers Park because of the playground and the spacious areas the park has.
Settlers Park isn’t just a place to play in the playground and throw parties, but sporting events tend to happen there throughout the spring, summer, and fall. In the grassy fields, flag football, soccer, volleyball, and rugby are played and practiced on the grass. On the other side of the park, there are three softball fields and five baseball fields. Tournaments are played at those fields throughout the spring and fall. In the middle of the park there are tennis courts by the playground. Kimberly Reed says, “Settlers Park is family oriented, clean, nice, and beautiful.” She has a son named Asher Reed who plays flag football for the Falcons, and she enjoys watching him and the team play. Sports at Settlers Park are great to attend as games bring competition, cheering, accomplishment, and overall, a good time.
