Are you looking for a treat that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth? Go to Menchies for frozen yogurt or to-go cake. This yogurt chain has locations across the US. Recently, Menchies opened their newest store in Meridian, Idaho on Ten Mile. This brought quite the crowd on opening day.

Menchies opened their first ever location in San Fernado Valley, CA on May 15 2007. Now there are over 540 locations worldwide. Menchies is known for their fruity and chocolatey flavors of yogurt, as well as their endless salty, sugary, and gummy toppings. It is a family-friendly place. The cute animal mascots are popular among young children. As well as the kid sized tables and chalkboards for entertainment.

I recommend Menchies because of the environment and the variety of dessert options. Most would consider it to be a fun unique experience. The bright pink and green shop is cheery. The employees at the Meridian location were very kind and welcoming. They were quick to refill toppings and cups and answer any questions about the flavors. There is plenty of seating inside and out on the patio.

Audiences love their outstanding variety of yogurt flavors, toppings and cakes.  They have twelve yogurt flavors, as well as perfectly paired swirl options. Flavors are changed out weekly and along with the seasonal options and toppings, keeping the taste new and fresh. One thing that makes Menchies stand out is that you can create healthier versions of your favorite dessert. You have the choice of fresh fruits and nuts or you can go for the brownies and delicious cheesecake bites.

The only downside to this delightful place is the parking lot. Currently Menchies is the only shop that is open in this commercial complex. However, in the coming months, as the other businesses open, the public foresees parking issues.  The spots are limited and there is only one way in and out. The location was well planned though and that allows for foot traffic during the summer months. I would suggest riding your bike or even walking during peak times.
