The NBA Cup just finished up and the Milwaukee Bucks became the second ever team to win it. They were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. They played the Oklahoma City Thunder in the final and beat them by a score of 97-81. The teams who made the Las Vegas Semi-Finals were the Atlanta Hawks, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Houston Rockets, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Some of the top performers in the tournament were Shai Gilgeous Alexander, Luka Doncic, Jalen Green, Lebron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo. With the MVP for the tournament selection going to Giannis, there was no surprise there. The reward for winning was $500,000. For some, this doesn’t seem like much but for the lower salary players this was seen as a huge bonus! After being introduced in 2023, The NBA Cup seems like it will be here to stay. The NBA continues play on the 19th and gears up for the annual Christmas day games with the western conference being extremely competitive and the eastern conference being very top heavy it will be very interesting to see how things shake up for the playoffs. As for the all-star selections, it is still very much up for grabs with many players vying for their first all-star selections. Tune in to the NBA to see what happens!
