Winter Wonderland Movies!

Hot coco, cookies, and a nice warm blanket. Doesn’t it sound familiar well these are just a few qualities of Christmas. December is an exhilarating and is generally considered a fun time of year. With such a highly anticipated month there’s a lot to do during the short season, one of the most looked forward to activities and traditions are Christmas movies.

There are a lot of Christmas movies, so much that it can get overwhelming, many students of rocky got interviewed to gain a better overlook of what 5 movies students think are the best.

Some movies a lot of students look forward to is “Elf”. Elf is fun story about a run a way abnormal elf from Santa’s workshop that goes to New York to find his dad. “Elf” is one of many incredible Christmas movies.

The movie “Home Alone” is all about a boy that was left behind as his family rushes to get on vacation, and how criminals attempt to rob their house.  “Home alone” is a highly anticipated movie and is definitely one to watch.

Some Other movies like “The Nightmare before Christmas” is all about the character “jack” who is a skeleton from a Halloween world who discovers what Christmas is. This movie is thrilling and interesting to watch with fun songs and silly themes, this movie is one many look forward too for a good reason.

Another movie “the Polar Express” is a nostalgic movie for many kids born in the early 2000’s, this move is all about a chilling train ride to the north pole, where they discover the cheer and excitement of Christmas in a fun fast paced environment. Some believe this movie is unsettling and uncomfortable, but others consider a masterpiece, it definitely deserves its spot on this list.

The last movie on this list “A Christmas story” is all about a young boy named “Ralphie Parker” who spends most the story wishing for his dream Christmas gift and avoiding his bully. This movie was originally released in 1983 so countless of people from all age groups have seen this movie and consider it nostalgic and some even consider it a tradition.
